Katelyn was born in the late '80s and grew up outside of Baltimore, Maryland. Now she lives in Chicago. Crazy, huh? Her voice is powerful and intense yet her songs are accessibly vulnerable. She has been described as raw and sugar-sweet in the same breath. And her genre-crossing cello work can be heard in classical, folk, blues, and rock bands alike. She has played at many venues across Chicago like Schuba's, the Double Door, Uncommon Ground, Martyr's, and the Elbo Room. The summer of 2011 saw her complete a 6 week national tour. In 2013 she released her first full length album.

Besides all that, Katelyn likes knitting, crossword puzzles, Alpha King Pale Ale, and the internetz.
